  • Terry Ambrose:

    is scheming, plotting, and planning murder. That’s right, he’s working on the next Seaside Cove Bed & Breakfast Mystery. Who knows? He might even do a little writing while he’s at it!

  • Nancy J. Cohen:

    will be releasing Warrior Prince, #1 in the Drift Lords series, in a new trade paperback edition on Aug. 15. Nancy attended the FAPA President’s Book Awards on Aug. 5 where she won a Silver Medal for her latest mystery, Star Tangled Murder. She’ll also be attending and signing books at the Orlando Reads Books event on Aug. 26.

  • Debra H. Goldstein:

    will be joining Valerie Burns and Gretchen Archer for “Three Cozy Authors Discuss Murder Over Tea and Cookies” on August 12, 2023 from 1-2:30 p.m. The mystery author extravaganza, sponsored by Plenty Downtown Bookshop will be held at The French Cookie, 125 W.     Debra will also be attending Killer Nashville on August 17-20. She is a finalist for the Claymore Award (for first 50 pages of an unpublished novel) and the Cozy Silver Falchion award for 2022’s Five Belles Too Many. In addition to presenting a panel with fellow benchers Lois Winston and Maggie Toussaint, Debra will be teaching a program on Conflict, co-leading a workshop on short stories, and presenting the Friday lunch keynote address.

  • Cheryl Hollon:

    is attending Bouchercon 2023 in San Diego: Murder At The Marina from August 30 to September 3. She will be moderating a panel featuring Entrepreneurial Detectives: Small Business Owners Who Solve Crime, as well as participating in Author Speed Dating and the Kensington Author Book Giveaway.

  • Diane A.S. Stuckart:

    announces that Amazon has chosen PEACHES AND SCHEMES, her third Georgia B&B Mystery (written as Anna Gerard) as a Kindle Monthly Deal for the month of August, priced at $2.99.

  • Maggie Toussaint:

    writing as Valona Jones, announces Kirkus reviewed her October 2023 release, IN THE WICK OF TIME, saying “A cozy mystery more in touch with the dark side of magic than most.”

  • Lois Winston:

    will be attending Killer Nashville the third weekend in August, where she’ll be on a panel about The Power of Multi-Author Cross Promotion with fellow Benchers Maggie Toussaint and Debra H. Goldstein. She’ll also be one of the ten Sisters in Crime Middle Tennessee authors answering attendees’ questions during a “speed dating” session on book marketing, along with other panel assignments TBD.
