Countdown Mania by Maggie Toussaint

We’re familiar with the countdown sequence to a rocket’s launch: Ten-Nine-Eight-Seven-Six-Five-Four-Three-Two-One-Blast Off! When an author launches a book, it feels just that mindful and eventful.

Confound It is coming out June 1, 2018, and I’ve been busy getting everything ready. To readers it should seem like everything comes together silky smooth. Behind the scenes is a different picture. It feels like prep for any event you’ve ever held: a little chaotic, a little harried, but with so much anticipation I can scarcely hold still!

I’ve planned a Great Escapes Blog Tour beginning June 1, there will be a Book Launch party from 7-8:30 pm EDT on Friday, June 1 at http://www.facebook.com/NewReleaseParty and I will hold a book signing in mid-June in Darien, GA. If you don’t already follow me on Facebook, please click over and do that now: https://www.facebook.com/MaggieToussaintAuthor and on my website is a place to sign up for my newsletter.

For a chance to win the first book in the Dreamwalker series, Gone and Done It, please comment with an event you’ve planned and pulled off. The winner will be selected by random.org and will be announced on May 10.

  1. Good luck with your launch. Launching a book does take a lot of work and energy, but it’s worthwhile to gain attention. I love your Dreamwalker series and wish you much success!.

  2. Congrats, Maggie. You have more energy than I can hope for. And to all you readers, I was fortunate to see an advance copy of Maggie’s new book. You’ll definitely want to read it!

  3. Good luck with the launch, Maggie. I had the privilege to read an advance coiy and I LOVED IT. It has a permanent place on my favorites shelf.

    1. Thank you, Karla! This book complete a chapter in Baxley’s life. It was both cathartic and difficult to write. I’m delighted by the reactions to this book. Thanks for your Goodreads review!

  4. I had the privilege of planning our daughter’s celebration when she completed her doctoral program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I chose a restaurant serving New Orleans cuisine in a New Orleans atmosphere. The room I rented in the restaurant was decorated with a Mardi Gras theme & the dishes served were those I’ve eaten in New Orleans. It was a wonderful event & everyone seemed to really enjoy it. A bit nerve wracking pulling everything together though! 🙂

  5. I hope I remember to get on for the party!! My event would be my wedding! Find me at somesmartcookle at aol.com. It’s cookle with an L not an i. 🙂
