Let’s Talk with Maggie Toussaint
March 24, 2016
By Maggie Toussaint
March Madness, April Showers, May Flowers, the Dog Days of August, and Mr. October are just a few seasonal references that come to mind.
Just for fun, comment with a new monthly name. The answer list is as long as your imagination! Maybe you’ll do better than June Bugs, November Remembers, or September School Daze.
For every five people who enter, I’ll gift a kindle version of Happy Homicides 2: Thirteen Cozy Mysteries.

What with all the holiday hustle and bustle, I’m nominating DECEMBER DAZE
Made me laugh, Jim. Of course, I feel like I’m in a daze most days. Just a little north of too busy for my brain.
November Election Selection. March Mayhem. in honor of the giveaway Mysteries of March. December to Remember because of Christmas and the reason we celebrate.
Very creative, Debbie. I love December to Remember. That’s my birthday month as well!
March Maladies, April Achoos, May There Be No More Pollen. I’ve got a theme.
I feel your allergy pain, LOL! Nursing a middle ear infection right now from allergy side effects. Yowsa.
November Don’t Remember: ’cause my birthday is in November, I’m gettin’ on in age and my memory ain’t what it used to be. 🙂
Ha! That’s fun! Maybe it could also be “November, I better Remember”
Moon in June, July Skies, September School, October Frights, November Football, December Elves, March Winds, Maypole May, June Bride,
Wow, Jonnie! Such a lot of great responses. I may have a tough time selecting a favorite from your list. All of them are so evocative. Hmm. Lemme see. I think I’ll go with June Bride as my fav of your suggestions! Thanks for commenting and entering my drawing.
I forgot to mention it in the post. This contest stays open through March 30, so keep ’em coming!
How about July Jazz in honor of the Montreal Jazz Festival?(It actually starts at the end of June, but what the heck?)
July Jazz sounds fantastic. Oftentimes many cities have Jazz in the Park in the summer. I think this one has universal appeal!
June Juxtapositions, April Aspirations, February Fascinations, December Destination, I am not sure what you want, I hope these will make you smile. Thank you for your giveaway.
Freaky February, because if you live in the northern land of ice and snow, you may be freaking out from the dreary weather by February.
I like your thinking, Nancy. Sunshine is the cure for winter blahs, or at least it is for me!
Based on our weather here in the Colorado Rockies, I’d go with March Mayhem.
March Mayhem. That explains a lot about how I’ve felt this month. Must be something in the air!
Allergy April, Delightful Decembber
I love it! Allergy April better have some rain this year to knock down the pollen count. And December is Delightful indeed. Who doesn’t like presents?
We have 10 entries, so there are 2 winners!!! bn100 and Melody Gonser. Congratulations. I will email you to get your Kindle information for the anthology prize!
