Let's Talk with Debra H. Goldstein
Creating Communities for Authors and Readers

This “Let’s Talk” column existed before I ever joined Booklover’s Bench. As there have been several authors who have contributed to this blog over the years, that equals more “Let’s Talk” posts covering more topics and thoughts than I could ever catalog.
Why is that important to you and to us?
Because it has let us engage, educate, and amuse you and through your comments we have learned and become friends. To me, that’s what writing is all about. Creating communities that blend writers and readers. We put our heart and soul into producing works you enjoy, but we get so much in return from you.

Writing is often described as being a solitary activity. The actual process of bring a story, book, or blog to fruition may essentially be, but the feedback we get – whether in terms of suggestions, criticism, or encouragement makes it all worthwhile. It comes down to a two-way street of communication.
That’s why “Let’s Talk” is so important. What do you think about when it comes to talking to authors (or for that matter readers)?

I always love it when I get to talk to readers. Their reactions to our work can be very inspiring.
Well said, Debra!
