I’m excited to be joining this wonderful group of mystery authors. I know diamonds, dogs, and how to become the talk of every happy hour. I’m a GIA-trained gemologist by day and an admitted murderer by night—fictionally, of course, and never the dogs. I write stories where stolen jewels vanish, secrets refuse to stay buried, and one very determined dachshund usually steals the show.

My road to publication started the day I read my first Nancy Drew novel and decided my ending was better than Carolyn Keene’s. It pains me to admit it took until 2020 for me to finally find my voice and publish my first book. Ironically, I owe that leap to my mother, a proud couch potato, who made the questionable decision to adopt a Jack Russell Terrier. Anyone familiar with terriers already knows how badly that combination can go. Our adventures with Lucky inspired my first series, the Barkview Mysteries.

If you like your mysteries cozy, Barkview delivers Hallmark-style charm through the eyes of a cat person trapped in the most dog-obsessed town in America. Life in Barkview can be deadly, but the pups are always safe.

Because in my world, every clue sparkles… and every diamond has a story.
