What is your favorite color?
  • Terry Ambrose:

Judging by my wardrobe, you’d swear that it’s gray—dark gray. But really, I like a nice deep blue, especially a navy blue. However, when I was in the business world, I loved a good red tie. Nothing like a power tie to keep people on their toes.

  • Nancy J. Cohen:

Red is my power color and I like Turquoise for a tropical vibe. It helps to color coordinate the clothes in my closet. Then I can grab what I need at a quick glance.

  • Debra H. Goldstein:

My favorite color is blue. I use that for accents throughout my house because I find it calming. However, when it comes to clothes, I prefer red and black.

  • Cheryl Hollon:

My favorite colors are teal, red, grey, cream, and black. You’ll see those cozy shades everywhere in my life — from the throw pillows on my sofa to the scarves in my closet. They’re comforting, classic, and make me feel right at home.

  • Maggie Toussaint:

I love red the best. Well, maybe not entirely… It’s the blue-greens that have my heart. There’s something to be said for purple and yellow. Oh, and the corals and pink really make me smile. My favorite color is all of them!

  • Lois Winston:

Black…because it’s so slimming! But I’m also partial to pink and red.

There you have it! Our authors have revealed their deepest, darkest (okay, maybe that's overdoing it) color choices. What's your favorite color? Leave us a comment and let us know.
